CTM LAUNCH PLUS ONE MONTH

It is now September 2001 and CTM  (Campaign for Truth in Medicine) has been ‘live’ at www.campaignfortruth.com for one month. We have received many, many free subscriptions from all sorts of individuals and organisations and a great deal of interest is being shown at this early stage. We have also had many enquiries from people asking when are we going to start campaigning, how are we going to achieve our objectives, what issue are we starting with, who are our affiliates, etc., etc. This is of course to be expected. The unique approach we are taking and the scale of operations we are mounting, in order to help dismantle errant, conventional medical dogma, is something that, to our knowledge, has not been witnessed before. Naturally, CTM is going to attract interest. And the purpose of this notice is to inform all interested parties of the current ‘state of play’.

 

BUILDING THE RANKS – CTM (PHASE 1)

Our intention until January 2002 is to concentrate on building our membership support base and educating it on the specific issues we are covering. Names and addresses are being added to the campaign daily. The solid establishment of CTM is being achieved over the next few months through our web presence, through word of mouth, through the worldwide seminars our Campaign Executives, such as Phillip Day, carry out, and through the CTM brochure, which is available by request at admin@campaignfortruth.freeserve.co.uk, or online at campaignfortruth.com. We see it as a top priority that the numbers are built and our purpose in acting together as a huge, co-ordinated public base is fully explained to all. To this end, plans to promote CTM across the world locally, nationally and internationally are being acted upon as we speak. We are hoping for, and indeed are already receiving a massive response.

 

Throughout these next few months, we shall also be building up our affiliates base. Affiliate membership is open to all interested organisations and becoming an affiliate is easy and free. Simply visit our page at www.campaignfortruth.com/join.htm. An official CTM affiliates section is to be added to the main site soon. With regard to the programme of events, we are already in discussion with several main agencies involved in promoting greater public understanding of particular key health issues, such as vaccinations, nutritional medicine, animal cruelty and GM crop growth. We will be informing CTM members of the exact shape of our rolling campaign program in the near future.

 

In the meantime, the new CTM EClub bulletins will become active within the next three weeks. The purpose of these reports is to advise the membership on campaign issues as well as breakthroughs in health and wellbeing. We also invite members to submit reports of their own to be considered for publication if you have a CTM issue happening in your neighbourhood or country. These reports submitted by you should ideally be a half-page synopsis of the problem or issue occurring in your area, highlighting what you feel needs to be done to resolve the issue.

 

The overall aims and objectives of the campaign for Truth in Medicine are clearly laid out on the main site. One of the quickest ways to become more educated on the issues is to obtain a copy of Phillip Day’s Health Wars, the book CTM has chosen to spearhead its educational program for the membership. Health Wars is an ideal source of annotated information on the various topics under CTM discussion. Phillip Day, as many of you know, is a tireless advocate for medical reform and change, and tours approximately ten months of every year to help spread the word on the benefits of nutrition and preventative medicine. Other Campaign Executives, working closely with CTM, are formulating their own strategies on issues such as fluoridation, pollution, GM, agro-chemical and biotechnology issues, and liaising with key organisations around the world to increase the pressure on authorities to press for change.

 

These are very exciting and challenging times, and I would like to take this opportunity heartily to welcome you aboard CTM and the missions we now have before us. As you contemplate your own role within this global push for right and honesty within our society, consider that the indignation and determination of a well educated public to see things through is indispensable, and historically has always been the significant catalyst that has effected lasting change.

 

So let’s get the job done, and persist with no let-up until we have achieved the honourable and decent objectives any right-thinking society expects and deserves for its people. These objectives are completely achievable if the people work together. I firmly believe that this is precisely the time, with the vast communications resources now available, to accomplish these worthy goals and to reintroduce a measure of accountability that will serve to benefit all nations.
