GOVERNMENT HALTS PAY OFF TO HOSPITAL BOSS WHERE SUPERBUG KILLED 90 PATIENTS: The Government has stepped in to halt any severance payment to the former chief executive of the hospital trust at the centre of the Clostridum difficile outbreaks.
EU WATCHDOG CALLS FOR URGENT ACTION ON WI-FI RADIATION: The warning, from the EU's European Environment Agency (EEA) follows an international scientific review which concluded that safety limits set for the radiation are "thousands of times too lenient", and an official British report last week which concluded that it could not rule out the development of cancers from using mobile phones.

GERMANY WARNS CITIZENS TO AVOID USING WI-FI: Environment Ministry's verdict on the health risks from wireless technology puts the British government to shame. People should avoid using Wi-Fi wherever possible because of the risks it may pose to health, the German government has said.
LACK OF SUNSHINE CAUSES ONE MILLION DEATHS A YEAR: If vitamin D3 levels among populations worldwide were increased, 600,000 cases of breast and colorectal cancers could be prevented each year, according to researchers from the Moores Cancer Center at the University of California, San Diego.

REVISED EU TREATY EVEN WORSE: The revised EU constitution still looms on the horizon unabated despite numerous warnings from MPs. EU meddling in Britain's criminal justice system and massive fines if we refuse to co-operate top the list of concerns.
CHILDREN BEING ROBBED OF THEIR INNOCENCE BY 'GUNS, GANGS AND CELEBRITIES: Family breakdown, exam pressure, celebrity culture and crime are robbing children of their innocence, according to a major report released today.
